My Scientific Visualization timeline.
I found DNA fingerprinting, holograms, and digital media the most interesting. The reason they are so interesting is that they are amazing. Before computers you just had boring Polaroid pictures, but now you can edit pictures and blow people's minds. Holograms are the future of the world, in maybe 2050 instead of talking to people over the phone you will be using holograms. Without DNA fingerprinting many innocent people would be in prison. I learned that DNA fingerprinting and holograms wouldn't be possible without video and photography. I also learned that there are many different kinds of maps, like aeronautical and topographic maps.

My long term goal after school is to get into college. One short term goal right now is to decide what I want to do in college. I have been debating majoring in game design and getting a bachelor's degree in medicine. I want to start getting my GPA into something that colleges will like. I will start making sure that my grades in my core classes and electives will be good. I will try to make sure that I try my best in even my least favorite subjects.
My time line for deciding my majors will be from now, to the summer before eleventh grade. I will debate the pros and cons every day. I want to be sure about my major before applying for colleges and taking the SAT's again. Another short term goal is getting an A in P.E. I am not very physically fit and don't like P.E. but every day in P.E. I will do my best. I don't know if electives will count towards my GPA, but I will try anyway. This goal will span from now to the end of the semester. |
